Here’s an article that the local paper in Juan’s hometown of Bucaramanga did on Re-Evolution. This was done during the middle of the April contest and got us a lot of votes. Thanks to Juan and Vanguardia for all their efforts!

The Zuda contest may be over but Re-Evolution is still in the news in Colombia appearing in an article in El Tiempo, Colombia’s larges newspaper. This definitely inspires us to continue with our comic.

Well the Zuda April contest is over and after a huge counter-attack from Melody Re-Evolution has ended up in second place. It was a tough competition and even tougher loss but Juan are dedicated to keeping this comic alive. I would like to thank everyone who supported us, we really appreciate your votes and encouragement. Until next time!

Well we did it, we made it to number one but Melody isn’t far behind is trying to get her spot back. Please, tell your friends and family to vote for us and help up clinch this win.

For those of you wondering what the future of Re-Evolution will look like well here’s a sneak peak. Check out this group shot of the “Guerrilla Wild” that Juan did. Don’t want to give too much away about some of the characters that are here but here are a couple of spoilers. That mean looking parrot holding the cigars is named Fidel and the lama with the glasses is Dali. =)

Well we haven’t seen an update in the rankings since last Thursday and I have to say I’m kinda nervous. We’re still beating Melody in all the stats with more than 1k views and 25+ favorites but who knows how many votes we got. I know I personally know tons of people been voting for us so I hope it’s enough to get us in the lead and win this thing.

I’ve been developing the characters in Re-Evolution, mainly Chehuahua. One of the things I wanted to do was try to capture the essence of the real Che, who was a very intelligent, well read and eloquent man. So here’s the first of many quotes from Che and the Re-Evolution.

Well the rankings were updated today and although we had more favorites and view it looks like we still didn’t have enough votes to take over the top spot. It’s ok, we’re gaining momentum and we’re aiming to take the lead soon!

Woohoo! Re-Evolution made it into the top tier of the Zuda contest at #2. We’re right behind Melody, c’mon folks. Let’s catch up!
